One Busy April
It's been a busy month through April. We have just finished planting all the strawberries, raspberries, currants and gooseberries. These have been spread across multiple different fields and health grades to give them the best chance of growing and where some may struggle hopefully others will thrive. We plant all our plants by hand as we set them out in small blocks across the field so a machine would be inefficient as there would be a lot of turning or changing of varieties

A very busy January
This January has proved to be our busiest month yet. Both the commercial and direct orders have been flying in and we have been working every weekend just to keep up. The weather certainly hasn't been kind to us either unfortunately our strawberry plants and lifter don't like working in the frozen ground so we have to wait for the warmer parts of the day. Hopefully we will get time to start lifting some currant bushes again soon as this is a lot warmer job to do. As the weath

2024 Strawberry Plants for Sale at Moore Berries UK
It's been an incredibly wet start to 2024 here at Moore Berries. Our strawberry plants have had to wait a little longer to be lifted to make sure the fields are dry enough to get on. Luckily it looks set to dry out as the month progresses. We are currently offering 7 varieties of strawberry plants for sale but this will hopefully change next season as we want to open up more of our commercially grown varieties for eCommerce.
