Cupid is a vigorous late-season strawberry variety producing attractive orange-red berries with a sweet flavour. It is a great choice for extending your strawberry harvest after many of the main-season varieties have finished.

The plants have particularly useful disease resistance, including resistance to Verticillium wilt, crown rot, black spot and powdery mildew. The fruit also stands up well to wet weather, which is useful when growing strawberries outdoors in the UK.

The berries are lovely eaten fresh and are equally suited to homemade jams, desserts and preserves.
