Commercial plant production is where our business started. Our family has been propagating soft fruit plants in Norfolk since 1986, supplying growers, nurseries and other businesses across the UK. Mooreberries was later created to allow home growers to buy directly from us too, but commercial propagation remains a large part of what we do.
We supply bare-root strawberry plants, raspberry canes, currant bushes and gooseberry bushes in commercial quantities, with different grades and specifications available depending on how the plants are going to be used.
We currently supply plants to PYO farms, wholesale nurseries, garden centres, plant growers, potting businesses and other commercial fruit growers.If you are looking for anything from a few hundred plants to a much larger order, get in touch with us for availability and a quote.

We are a relatively small family business, which means we can often be more flexible than larger suppliers. If you need a particular specification, variety or quantity, please ask.
Commercial Strawberry Plants

Strawberry plant propagation has been at the centre of our business for more than 30 years.
We grow large quantities of field-grown bare-root strawberry runners in Norfolk and supply customers throughout the UK.
Our strawberry range includes established varieties suitable for PYO production, wholesale supply, potting and other commercial uses.
Plants can be supplied fresh-dug and ungraded or graded to your required specification, depending on availability and intended use.
Commercial strawberry orders are available from 100 plants upwards, with better pricing available as quantities increase.
We can also arrange cold storage for selected orders where plants are required later than our normal fresh-lifting season.

Commercial Blackcurrant, Redcurrant & Whitecurrant Bushes
We grow thousands of currant bushes each year for the commercial nursery and fruit-growing market.

Our range includes blackcurrants, redcurrants and whitecurrants, with several varieties available.
Our main commercial specification is a two-year bare-root bush with a minimum three-shoot specification, but we can also supply different grades for customers potting plants or growing them on.
Because we propagate our own currants, larger quantities can be reserved in advance for the following lifting season.

Commercial Raspberry Canes
We grow a range of bare-root raspberry canes for commercial orders.
Several summer and autumn-fruiting varieties are available, including varieties that are not currently listed in our mail-order shop.
Commercial quantities are available for growers, nurseries and businesses looking to pot, grow on or resell the plants.
If you are looking for 100 raspberry canes or considerably more, contact us with the varieties and quantities you require for our current availability and pricing.
Commercial Gooseberry Bushes
We also produce bare-root gooseberry bushes for commercial customers.
Our largest production is currently Hinnonmaki Red, alongside smaller quantities of other varieties.
Plants are available for nurseries, potting customers, garden centre supply, PYO farms and other commercial growers.
If we do not currently grow the variety or quantity you require, it is still worth contacting us. Through growers we work with, we may be able to source additional varieties for larger orders.

For larger orders we recommend speaking to us as early as possible.
Much of our commercial crop is planted and grown specifically for the following lifting season, so reserving plants early gives you the best choice of varieties, quantities and grades.
