Korona is a classic early to mid-season strawberry variety prized for its heavy yields and rich glossy red fruit. Bred in the Netherlands it's become a firm favourite with UK growers thanks to its reliable cropping and excellent flavour. It is sweet and good for eating fresh or turning into jams and preserves. 
 
Our Korona plants are grown in Norfolk as healthy bare root runners, giving them a strong start and excellent establishment rates once planted. Ideal for garden beds, raised beds or containers, korona is easy for even first-time strawberry growers. 
 
All our bare root strawberry plants are walked by DEFRA twice a year to certify them as pest and disease-free. This is done to ensure you are buying the healthiest plants we can supply to help you start your fruit growing journey with us.
