The Hinnonmaki Green is a particularly hardy gooseberry. It produces a large crop of well-sized fruit. The bushes are more compact than other varieties and were bred for their disease resistance. The berries are sweeter than some varieties and can be eaten straight off the plant or used in cooking.   
 
Our Gooseberries are supplied as two year old bushes with multiple established branches giving you an established plant ready to prune to the shape you want. mostly with gooseberries this is done in a goblet shape to help with picking.
