Our ‘Florence’ strawberry plants are late season strawberries that provide consistently large, conical shape and sweet tasting fruit. The picking season can be prolonged with this variety. It has well displayed fruit for easy picking. It has good resistance to crown rot, powdery mildew and other diseases with tolerance to Verticillium Wilt. It is also resistant to vine weevil. 
 
Florence strawberry plants produce a very deep red fruit that is perfect for making jams or freezing the fruit to enjoy out of season as well as eating fresh from the plant.
