Flamenco is a brilliant choice if you want to keep picking strawberries long after the main strawberry season has finished. Unlike most of our varieties that produce their main crop in early summer, Flamenco is an everbearing strawberry which will continue producing fruit through the summer and into the autumn.

The plants produce good crops of medium to large, glossy red strawberries with firm flesh and an excellent sweet flavour. The berries are great eaten fresh from the plant, but their firmer texture also makes them useful for desserts, jams and freezing.

Flamenco is particularly useful if you only have room for a few strawberry plants but want to spread your harvest over as long a period as possible. It grows well in the ground, raised beds and containers and has good resistance to Verticillium wilt.
