Plant in a sunny area.

How to plant

Dig a hole deep enough to lay the roots out. Cover the plant with soil 5cm deeper than it was in the nursery field (there should be a soil line at the base of the stem). This encourages extra stems to grow below surface level. Pressing down the soil to remove any air pockets. Water well and mulch can be added around the base to protect roots from cold weather.

Once Planted trim the whole bush back to 2 buds above ground level. This will encourage the plant to put out new shoots and grow a goblet like shape. 

Once you have an established plant trim out old and unproductive wood each year and trim baack the new growth to keep the shape and stop the tops of the bush becoming heavy and bending over.
